IEW 2020, which will be in its 5th edition will be the flagship event for the Ministry of Utilities, Sarawak and is expected to attract over 200 exhibiting companies and over 5,000 participants. Held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching from 6-8 October 2020, IEW 2020 will feature a high-powered Conference aimed to attract a greater number of international speakers, representing top industry captains.

“As witnessed by the strong attendance at the Soft Launch, we have received a higher level of interest for IEW 2020 as the Sarawak Government continues to leverage on the energy and petroleum sectors to drive its development. We will work closely with Sarawak Energy Berhad, PETROS and RECODA, the developer of SCORE, to produce a quality event that will generate new business and investments, introduce new innovations and ideas, and foster cooperation. In addition, with the impending development in Kalimantan as a result of the construction of Indonesia’s new capital, the potential will be enormous,” said Ms Rina Fadzil, AVP of AMB Tarsus Events Group.
